Infrastructure upgrades
« on: November 26, 2010, 08:19:16 AM »

Gentlefolk,

The following article makes depressing reading:-

http://www.pcpro.co.uk/news/broadband/363127/bt-first-fibre-exchanges-will-miss-out-on-top-speeds

However it still ignores the rural areas that won't be provided with any new facilities other than possibly self-purchased satellite systems.

Kind regards,
Walter

I have said for a long time that those who have slow or non at all will get left behind, and those that have a fast connection will be the ones that will get an even faster one.

Then once a few thousand have fast fftc connections, the government will no doubt announce that we are a super fast broadband country..
