Which ISP would you recommend at SWKGH
« on: November 18, 2010, 11:18:27 AM »

http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange/SWKGH

As you can see I have a very limited choice and my line is around 3.5k from the exchange

attenuation58-59db
snr around 10-13 daytime

These stats are with a sync speed of around 2200kbps

As I have already posted, it seems Sky is my only choice if i want to download large files from time to time and not have slow internet at peak evening times.   I also like to watch a lot of tv on-line bbc I player,ITV Player,4od and you tube.  What I also look for in an ISP is customer service and UKonline were great but looking at the choices I have now, it seems I can forget all about that.

A sorry state of affairs!

Sky would be my choice I think and I would stay with a BT line just in case it doesn't work out.

Your only other option is somebody like XILO, FAST or AAISP......not cheap but the CS is top class I understand.
