'Allo 'Allo   .....I shall open the shutters this morning    and hope you are all tickety boo.    La Toussaint today  ....   All Saints Day ...which is a national holiday here.   The tradition is to place chrysanthemums in cemeteries  and  memorials all over France; it's quite a sight .  The one thing to remember is not to offer chrysanthemums for anyone's birthday etc  !!

Weatherwise, autumnal, calm, warmish  ..... the vineyards have their autumn splendour on them now.    

A quiet day for us and you could hear a pin drop at the moment , there's a buzzard circling the vines  ....   apart from that no sign of anything      enjoy your day !

Good Morning Scottiesmum, could you open the shutters a little slower please? the sudden bright light you see.  I've been up ages, about an hour after you.
I hope you have a nice rest on your national holiday. A rest from all that work. Nice thought about the crysanths, and thanks for the warning. Although I don't know anyone apart from you and yours over there.
Not much happening here today, a very sort of nondescript day you might say. It's grey and mild which makes for quite damp weather. Yuk!

Lovely autumnal day here also, just right for a good trundle along the riverbank.
We are getting into TD's favourite snapping season and I feel the shutter button finger beginning to itch.  Must get the cameras and stuff all ready for the off.

Quite a nice mild morning here.

Last night passed off very quietly(Greasing the front steps and boiling oil seems to have done the trick)    

Here we are into November   The year has just flown by.

Not much planned today,although a bit of gentle outdoor pottering looks possible.

I remember many years ago my mum bought me a William Tell crossbow for being a brave little soldier at the dentist.
