I thought I'd start the daily chat for a change.

Have a great day everyone, and don't forget:

Good morning one and all, and I hope you are well, fighting fit and enjoying your extra hour.  ;D

The kids were out in force last night, and I have heard enough song and poems, and witnessed enough dancing and party tricks to keep me going until the next time.
The TD coffers are now totally bereft of sweets, toffee apples, fudge etc etc... :D

Bright and chilly today, pleasant for a ramble about. The flood waters have subsided so will have a trundle and see what damage, if any, has been wrought.

@ unkyUb........enjoy the pumpkin juice  ;)

Have fun.

Good Morning everybody,
All my clocks have been reset back to GMT. I don't know about a sleep in 'cause I still got up at the same time. Nice to see Floidoid opening up shop.
UncleUB the full moon was the scariest thing I have seen this year.  ???
The kids all by-passed my house and left me in peace for a change. I don't mind.
I hope there's no damage from the flood waters TD. At least wi the slightly milder weather the water can drain away and not freeze over.

Enjoy yourselves everyone.

I don't know about a sleep in 'cause I still got up at the same time.

I had that problem too.  It usually takes a couple of days for my body clock to adjust.  Goodness knows how people cope with hopping between time zones in the course of their daily lives.

I'll spell your name right this time Floydoid. It must be the body clock thing, the spring must be getting older.

Morning all,

Long time no see Floidy  hope you are well.  Similarly to others here, I only slept as per usual despite putting the clocks back at midnight...but never mind it wasn't too bad so can't complain.  Luckily didn't get any Halloweeners last night, won't speak too soon as it's the proper date today....but they usually make a weekend of it as in the past.  Heard some fireworks last night though for the first time  :o so no doubt we will be treated to those over the next week or three.

@ Uncy, loved the cartoon, very clever aren't they lolol.  Talking of such things, someone has asked where on tinternet they can get some FREE Xmas <spit> clip art that is from a "good" site (whatever that is lol).  Does anyone know where that can be obtained please?

Hope everyone has a good day, it's grey and dull here with drizzle atm so not venturing out even if I wanted to.

Keep smiling.

Chrissie

'Allo 'Allo  to you All    ;D     and anyone who pops in later   ......    our clocks moved back too, so we are still just an hour ahead of you .

Chrissie, this might interest your friend    ...... http://fwd4.me/l2K    For anyone wanting quality e-cards for any occasion, I use the  Jacquie Lawson  site from time to time  .....   you do pay an annual fee, but it is extremely low; the selection and quality of cards  is excellent..... and you can set up your  own address book.   hth.

Enjoy the day everyone ! :)

Thanks Floidy, will pass it on to my friend, also Kate, thanks for that will pass that on too.  As I am the Scrooge of all Scrooges for Xmas (probably cos I'm a year old near that day.... :-X) I don't "do" Xmas nowadays so will bypass such things until I'm dragged kicking n screaming into the "festivities"....bah humbug lol  ;D

Oooo! I like humbugs, except when I try and bite 'em like I used to do.

Count me in on the 'bah humbug' camp... I've been invited to spend the season with Panomania & family... but as much as I love them all... I just don't want to be dragged into doing all the dreadful festive stuff with them.

The jury is still out.
