Just something a little odd . I have just replied to 2 posts . Chit Chat and games  yet they are still showing as New posts

Most probably the result of browser caching, I think.

The most likely explanation.   
I find Opera is the worst for doing this, even if you have caching turned off in the settings:/

Hi

I am using FF. All the other section behave as expected ?.Would Browser caching only affect 1 or 2 of the sections ?

I suppose not in principle. But it seems to me that there's a certain amount of randomness in what gets cached and for how long. I remember some time ago having a similar experience when I changed my forum avatar, and I had to clear the cache and re-launch Firefox before I saw the change. However I've changed it again since then, and I saw the result immediately.
