Flasshing DG834GT with Netgear's Recovery utility
« on: May 10, 2011, 05:37:34 PM »

Just a quick question.
Does Netgears recovery utility (windows) work with DGTeam's firmware?
Or would I brick it if I tried??
Regards
Clive

It's supposed to work, but I've never tried it. The DGTeam website is unavailable at the moment, so I can't check what they say about it.

Thanks for the reply  :)
Just had a look again at thier tutorial [url]http://dgteam.netsons.org/index.php?pid=16[url]
and realise that the recovery utility that they refer to links to the recovery utility on netgear's site.
So of course it works (or it'ssupposed to). Sorry I was jumping to conclusions thinking it was a different utility  :-[

It works but I always go Netgear firmware - DGteam Firmware.

But I am sure it would go DGteam first time also.
