What will we do in those extra few seconds gained when we do not have to wait for the 'Bios' to boot up a computer  :'(.

UEFI isn't the only player in the field. There's also coreboot which is arguably smarter and quicker.

What will we do in those extra few seconds
What on earth is the point?
OK, bringing it up to date technically is good, but a few seconds is nothing when Windows (which most use) still takes over a minute before it's really 100% useable.  :'(
Yes, I know it looks like it's up quicker than that, but people like me look "under the hood" and know you should take a couple more sips of tea or coffee before you actually try and do anything.  :graduate:

(actually I normally go to the loo, and "take my time")

Sounds like someone is fixing something that's not broken. :D
