Good morning...are you all well ?   Good. 

Grey, wet and windy so pottering indoors today.

Still haven't managed to catch the mink that are infesting the place.....must put out more traps.

Good Morning TD,
similar sort of weather as yours, so indoor pottering. I hope it doesn't stay like this long otherwise cabin fever could take hold.  I've sort of got used to just bobbing outside minus a coat.
I don't know much about mink in the wild, are they vermin then? I know we used to have a mink farm between Otley & Harrogate and it caused quite a stir a time or two when some escaped. I wish you success in catching them.

Morning all

Heavy rain last night, but a pleasant sunny day today, so more rambling is in order. I really need to do some hedge cutting, but the hedges are so wet that I'll have to leave the job for another day.

Talking about mink, they're dreadful things which have a devastating effect on native wildlife. I know they're just dumb animals trying to make a living the only way they know how, just like the rest of us, but they don't belong here and need to be got rid of.

We too have had heavy overnight rain,but its quite bright now.

Good look with the minking TD......what actual destruction do they do?

Not much planned today apart from getting out and sorting the camping gear,it still amazes me how Sue manages to get it all in the car.

It's the bit about the ducks that worries me... ....mink can run faster then me...

Just been doing a bit of reading up on mink and what Roseway says seems to be the consensus. I also found out how the mink escaped from the Harrogate farm, they were released by animal rights activists.
Could you may some money from your catches TD? Enough to cover expenses that is.
