My honest opinion of Facebook is it wants

From what I've seen of it,it is millions of people just posting irrelevant tripe .

Example.

what u doin m8

just ad me t,wot u doin

I've jus ad me t n'all

wot u ad m8

Do you get the picture x that by 500million. :-X

My guess is cyber abuse will become against the law one day.

It can be criminally prosecuted already using Protection from Harassment Act 1997 (has both criminal and civil possibilities), Malicious Communications Act 1988, Communications Act 2003, and Public Order Act 1986.

I tend to agree with you Unc   ...    Twitter is another thing I can't understand   ...   do you think it's an 'age' thing   :D

I  receive emails now and again from Facebooks telling me someone wants me to look at their page ...  I simply bin the email !   Then advise the person, who I have normally had contact, and still do in some cases, by email, that I prefer emails.

I have the feeling that social networking is in danger  becoming  very unsocial networking.

I have been on facebook a few years but I agree it is not very nice and vary invasive.

I have mine locked right down and I only allow family access, it is good for keeping up with family.

Hi camallison :)

Sounds like you've had the most dreadful time  :(
I'm so glad to hear that you've finally managed to sort out your Facebook problem.

Neither me or my teenage son have ever been anywhere near Facebook - & - Never intend to either  .. Yuk!

As I said, we haven't been near Facebook ourselves either - still doesn't stop nasty people "broadcasting" to the world that wants to listen.  Since this individual is also breaking the terms of an injunction and attempting to contact minors, we have now asked for a complete "takedown" of their profile by Facebook.  Let's see how quickly the reaction is.
