try netpeeker, it has graphs and everything.  its what i used to entrap BT with their shaping etc.  it'll tell u what app has done what (bandwidth wise):

No offence but for what I need NetLimiter will do for me.

The panic seems to be over at the moment as it appears they are monitoring download speed more so than Upload speed.
So I just have to be careful when having a heavier than usual session of downloading, which is what really happened the other week, as I do not normally download as much as I did in such short a time as possible as on that occasion

Just a up-date if anyone comes across this thread.

Virgins' "Traffic Management System" is has now been altered.
Although due to start in the new year of 2008, it seems that they have instigated it early, or at least in some area's.

In one respect I have to admit it now seems a little fairer (not that I agree with it anyway) but thats the way it goes and we have to live with it.
