Hi UncleUB  :)

Thank God! .. You Reminded Me!
Don't want to end up with flamin McAfee again

Hate updating Flash for Firefox.
As it's not as simple as updating other Firefox Add-Ons  :(
But I usually still let Firefox guide me to the update.

Hi Zoe  :) I have managed it at last(see my thread over at C/A....what a mess about.)

That GetPlus Installer is causing a lot of problems for FF users,if you have it as an add on......get rid asap

Hi UncleUB  :)

Re: Firefox & Flash

Just checked what version of Flash Player I've got on my Laptop... Against the version numbers you've posted.

Flash 10.1.82.76 ... I've Already Got It!  :D

Note!
Last Week... I'm sure I can remember my laptop having a Flash Update.
Two Days Ago... My desktop also had a Flash Update.

However!
At the time I was really busy  ???  So I Clicked... Remind Me Later ( Still waiting for the Flash Update to come back to my Desktop)
Today... My laptop had another Flash Update.

Re: Laptop
Either...
Last Weeks Flash Update - or - Today's Flash Update.... Must have updated my Flash for Firefox.
Coz... Didn't Do It Myself!

Hi Zoe, :)

Glad you are sorted. :)

I usually wait for either Jal or Rogerman over the road to post the latest updates or sometimes I will check File Hippo.  :)

Hi UncleUB  :)

Re: My Desktop

Flash Update .. Reappeared on my desktop this morning!

Checked... Firefox on Desktop .. Flash 10.1.53.64   :o

So!

Re: My Laptop

Checked... Programs and Features .. On my Laptop!
Flash Player 10 ActiveX 07/08/2010
Flash Player 10 Plugin  14/08/2010
------------- 10.1.82.76 -------------

So!

Was right about my Laptop  ;D
Did Have 2 Flash Updates...
1 x IE8 = 07/08/2010
1 x Firefox = 14/08/2010

Both Flash Players Must Now Update Automatically!
Firefox Flash... Updating in just the same way as the IE8 Flash does  :-\
So! ... Now I've just got to wait for the Firefox Flash Update to appear on my Desktop.

Been a While!
But I was determined to find out if I was correct - & - Firefox Flash capable of updating itself automatically  :-\

Was Right Though!
Yesterday afternoon my Desktop Computer finally received the second of the two Flash updates ( Note: Just like my Laptop had received 2 Flash Updates last month )
Checked and found that the Flash update had indeed updated the Desktops Firefox Flash  ( Note: Flash update came Just like how we get the one for IE8 Flash )

So....
Both Flash Players ( IE8 - & - Firefox ) Do Now Update Automatically  ;)
