Kitz Forum - Bug? - Can't see attached images as Guest.
« on: July 05, 2010, 10:08:41 PM »

Hi,
I was just looking at this recent post as a Guest - http://forum.kitz.co.uk/index.php/topic,7624.0.html
I don't see the 2 attached pictures.

But I do see them when I'm logged in.
I get the same result using Seamonkey, Konqueror and Firefox on Linux + IE6 on Win2k

Seems like a bug?
Firefox automatically logs me in to the forum, so I'm rarely connected as a Guest.
Don't know if this is a longstanding phenomenon or not.

Cheers,
Peter

Its not a bug - its by design.

Is this a security feature or is it simply to encourage guests to register and become members ?

kinda both/several reasons and its the way Id prefer it.
Ive already  increased the capacity for attachments many, many times over and above what the default SMF is set at
