Good morning, and I hope all are well and ready for the off.  ;D

Another hot day coming.......wall to wall blue sky, sun beaming down and sundry locals all shouting..."phew"
We have had no appreciable rain since February.........the ground is so dry that the grass is dying and going a nasty brown colour ( no mowing to be done  ), the rivers are at a low ebb and the resevoirs are empty..the beds are cracking so the next rain ( and there is none forecast) will just disappear.
Water pressure in the house is almost nil, just a  dribble, and it is taking three or four minutes to refill the toilet cistern.  :(

I cant remember a summer as dry as this, and we are only now arriving at the mid-summer point......what it will be like by August, I shudder to think.

Enough moaning, pottering and resting today.........and hoping that you will enjoy yourselves whatever you are getting up to. :)

Good Morning TD, I posted in this thread because I can't stand the noise in the other one ;D
Good Morning UncleUB.

A beautiful sunny day here also, however we have had a little rain at times so the grass and weeds are growing like crazy. I hope you do get some rain soon, but I won't hold my breath.

A good day for pottering today. It's going to be too warm for indoor DIY.

Enjoy your day everybody.

Regardless of the effect on your eardrums, ss44, I've merged the two threads.

If you can get used to these vuvuzelas, you can cope with unkyUb shouting... :D

Morning all,

Ahem Uncy.....you're sent orfff!!  Fancy making all that noise at this time of the morning....yawn!!

Nice to see you TD but sorry to hear about the drought conditions you're having up that way, doesn't seem possible to me really when we always hear how much rain you have in bonnie Scotland.  I think we must have had your share earlier in the year down sarf TD, though not lately as we need some here now....

Cold and grey here atm, same as yesterday so not at all warm for the last couple of days, again that's unusual for these ere tropical parts.....now I'm wondering if they've turned GB round and the sarf east is now in the north  :o

Hope everyone has a good day today especially those enjoying Father's Day.  Don't go overdoing things and I hope you've been given breakfast in bed lol.
