Saturday Sizzler 5th June
« on: June 05, 2010, 06:51:09 AM »

Morning all,

We've had two HOT days and looks like it will be a sizzler today too in these ere parts, the sun sure has got his hat on this morning!

TD I trust the footling went well yesterday even in the heat!  ;D Hope you enjoyed your BBQ Uncy, very nice too.  Eric thanks for reminding me that the laurel bush in our front garden has to be "attended to" as well....we've been saying for weeks we must get round to that....hmm, think we'll wait until it's not so hot out.  Colin No.2 sounds as though you get into some real games  :D and scrapes with what happened yesterday, glad the car was able to be fixed and that it didn't quite put you out of action fully...hope you're feeling relaxed today?

Have some tidying and bits to do today (ugh) but will take it easy and at least it's cool in the house which will be a help.  Might even get some crafting done if I'm lucky  ;D

Have a good day everyone whatever you're planning to do.

Chrissie

Good morning Chrissie and all who follow.
Well the weather has changed a bit here, it had be really hot and summery until yesterday evening when we had a downpour.
It's still grey and a fair bit fresher today and it doesn't look like clearing up anytime soon, but it is dry. I'll be giving the motor a test today when I go for the shopping. I have been thinking of looking for an newer one, perhaps it's time I did. I have always had the mind that if it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have much luck at all. :)
I wish I could swap the back for a newer one. There would be no thinking about it. At least it's not as bad as it was the last time and I know how to treat it.

Enjoy your BBQ's or whatever you do today.

Good morning Chrissie, Colin 2, and all.

It looks like another hot one here, although heavy rain is forecast for tonight. It's the village fete here today, so it looks like being good for the fun and games.

Colin, I don't want to sound like an unasked-for medical advisor, but I used to have a lot of trouble with my back until about three years ago, when I bought a bed with a memory foam mattress. The characteristic of memory foam is that it moulds itself to the contours of your body and gives all-round support while you're sleeping. I often used to wake up in the morning with a stiff back, but since getting the memory foam bed this no longer happens.

Enjoy your day everyone. :)

It's probably a mistake UncleUB.  :fingers:
Indeed turned out to be a scorcher, though If the Met Office are right we should get a fair wetting tomorrow.
Welcome back Kate.Nice of you to rub it in how glorious the weather is over there. Well as you have noticed we've had our own here. :P
