I think Walter there has to be the will on the part of Openreach to help and as you say an ISP who will go out of their way to help with technical issues.
I really don't think Openreach are interested.
It's too much effort on their part.
The guy who came on Sat morning to do the diagnostic tests on his laptop wasn't really interested, it took him all his time to even say hello to me.
When he left he just said he was going to the exchange he didn't say if he was coming back to the house again or not........and he didn't.
I stayed in for the rest of Saturday but I should have gone out and done my shopping etc.
