Google Chrome
« on: May 26, 2010, 10:05:06 AM »

Hi all,

Just been having a play with Google Chrome.I'm quite impressed with it,but I don't think you can have your bookmarks displayed in a side panel like Opera and Firefox.I'm that use to seeing them that way that I don't think the change of browser will be a lasting one.

Plus I don't think you can add toolbars,so I can't see any options about printing etc.

If you care about data security, then you might like to be wary of Google Chrome. It monitors your surfing activity and Google collect that information. It's even been described as spyware in some places. Personally I wouldn't touch it.

Have a look at Srware Iron, it's Chrome with the spyware removed.  8)

It does seem to be very getting very popular, but tbh I wasn't that impressed.

You can un check the box that sends your surfing habits back to google(which I did).I have gone back to Opera and Firefox.
