DG834GT & Routerstats odd Readings
« on: May 05, 2010, 12:28:19 PM »

I have just today updated the DGTeam Firmware and got the rather strange readings in the routerstats report.
The updated firmware is V1.02.16 rev 0848, from the official site, I don't have a screen shot of the previous version but that version used to report the same count in downstream sf errors in the total crc errors.
The modem has synced at a higher rate than normal according to the readings, however I am a bit sceptical of that now. I'm not really bothered about it as I know I have little chance of improving my stats. Yes I have taken all measures a few times. I just wondered if anyone else had notice the change.

Edit: title to correct model.

This doesn't answer your question, but the 0848 version of the DGTeam firmware is a couple of versions back. The current version is 1014.

There's a short thread on SF errors with DGTeam firmware on the Routerstats forum.

I've just downloaded the referred to routerstats version. Will give that a go and report back.
Thanks again Eric.

Good news :) I must say that John (the Routerstats guy) is brilliant.
