Hello all fellow kitizens ...... from a field in deepest Gloucestershire.  Maisie and I are "blogging" from the hilltops today.  Wonderful how the Vodafone dongle has made this possible.  Lots of sun  and a gentle breeze with the first butterflies for Maisie to chase.  What a wonderful day   8)  (that's me with my sun specs on).  We also have company - two of the grandkids who are still on their school break.  They are doing a project that involves identifying wildlife - hence the laptop.

Good afternoon Colin and all

It's sunny but rather cold here (it's been like that for a couple of days). I've spent it indoors anyway while I've been decorating the office. I'm pleased to say that it's finished now - walls and woodwork painted, new carpet laid, and I took the opportunity to do some rewiring to tidy things up a bit. There are a couple of peripheral tasks still to do - new curtains and main light fitting, and then I'll be able to get back to talking nonsense here.
