Hi all,

I'm on BT Total Broadband and my Home Hub is currently synced at 5536kbps down and 448kbps up.

But the internet is painfully slow, and upon testing with both speedtest.net and BT Speedchecker the download speed was less than 1mbps. 

Any idea what could be wrong?  Thanks!

There are many possible causes of slow download speeds:

- Exchange congestion - Check exchange status here.

- ISP congestion - Ask your ISP

- ISP traffic management - Ask your ISP

- Low IP profile - When you did the BT speed test, did it tell you your IP profile ('configured download speed')?

- PC configuration (MTU and RWIN) - Information here.
