I like Opera too.  The only feature from Firefox that I miss when using Opera is AdBlocker :)

Just had a try and blocked the adds at the top of the page.......Can't seem to get them back though.

Re-enabled the block content toolbar,>details>which then gives a box with www kitz co uk/files/* in and then 3 options on the right,

Add,Edit or Delete....Do you just delete it for the adds to return?  ???

Tried deleting the above and it doesn't return the add banner....

I am also giving Opera a run after a good long rest and Yes! it has improved a great deal. I think I'll stay with it.
UncleUB, I have the Linux version which I think is very similar to the Windows flavour and you need to delete the ads/content you wish to be NOT blocked. Do a refresh of the page otherwise you may still have the blocked content in your local cache.

@ unkyUb...>>>>>>>>Do you just delete it for the adds to return <<<

Yes......that deletes it from the list of blocked content and allows it to reappear on the site.
When you are still on the "blocked conyent" window, highlight the kitz entry and hit delete......then hit the "close" button on that window. That should take you back to the "preferences" window.....on there, you must click on the "ok" button to make your command stick.

As silversurfer44 saya, a refresh of the page after that may be required.

It could be a little while yet, unkyUb......it's not long out of alpha ans Opera do tend to make sure all is ok before final release.

I see  :)

I am now a fully fledged Opera Convert,

The only thing I miss is my Google toolbar, but thats not the be all and end all. :)

If 10.50 is a good as the reviews, bring it on.  :)

Alas, unkyUb, Opera considers Google Toolbar and the like to be a security issue and will not let them function in their browser.

Indeed, apart from the likes of Java and Flash.....they will not permit very many plug-ins or add-ons, which is ok by me as most of what users need or want is built in.

Will keep an eye on the development of 10.50 and give a shout if I see a final version on the horizon.  :)
