It's probably more convenient to select all the text, copy and edit that way, however if you only want a section of text from the command prompt window:

Right click on the window and select 'Mark'
Point to the start of the text you want, hold down the left mouse button and drag the white box over the desired text
Use Ctrl&c keys to copy that text to the clipboard from where it will be available to paste where you want.

first one is through telnet router  ,summary.  

second one    telnet router, terminal ,stats
Btw It does not show FEC but  RS corrected

Sorry for delay in replying - very many thanks for your suggestions and help.
I regret having to ask such basic questions - but really appreciate people being so understanding ( & helpful)

FWIW I can recommend RouterStats to monitor your Netgear and display errors etc.

Free, safe, excellent application.
