9/10 for me. I got the TRS one wrong, I always just called those phono jacks.

I'll have to wow my friends with their real name now, tee hee. Fun quiz!

Whilst investigating various regions of the fora, the black cat came across this thread. Wishing to see the outcome, he accepted the challenge.

After giving a long black look at one particular photograph, number 2, he remembered what he had read about GPO technology from the years gone by and muttered "Tip, Ring, Sleeve" to himself.

The resultant score of 10/10 thus elicited a satisfied purr.

To be utterly honest, I would usually refer to number 1 as a "phono plug" and number 2 as a "jack plug". It was only by considering the multi-choice options given did I manage to achieve my result . . .
