Colin,Pixmania are part of the DSG group,there is plenty of bad comments about them scattered over the internet.

We always used Comet for any appliances and always buy from their website.

Have never had any problems and their prices and delivery isn't that bad either

We`ve used Currys ONCE, & they did deliver, was a couple of years ago (7 yrs IIRC).

We wanted a few bits, all white goods...

The Mrs`s was paying in cash...

Went to a sales `Erbert.....Sat down took details & said "That`ll be be £xxx (can`t remember)....Mrs`s says " thats not how much its £xxx"..."How`d you get that figure?"....... "Well theres the cost & £xxx Delivery for 3 items.." .....The Mrs`s says, you think I`m giving you £700 in cash & your going to charge me delivery, you can shove it".....Salesman panics & says " Let me talk to a supervisor"..... Free delivery 2 days later...

Another Currys event (well more than once), always the same for anything that is Cheap, IE not the most expensive, normally washing M/Cs or fridges/freezers...We don`t have that Model in stock....Now I know they have a warehouse not too far away.....caught them out a couple of times....You can collect from the warehouse...

DSG isn`t my favourite store/s, but they do have a few odd offers that aren`t too bad...

Comets are better...
