Would like opinions on my ADSL line SNRM
« on: December 16, 2009, 01:20:51 PM »

I have been running routerstats on my Netgear DG834GT with DGTeam firmware, and the SNRM is tweaked.

The SNRM graph seems a bit unusual. See attached plot with capture every 15 seconds.

It seems to vary very little, and I had to expand the vertical scale significantly to see any variation at all. Most of the other SNRM graphs I see posted here seem to have much bigger swings. Also, the average SNRM values change very little from day-time to night-time - only about 1dB.

Is this unusual? I'd welcome some opinions.

It's perhaps a bit unusual, but nothing to cause alarm - very good in fact.

You may have a good quality metallic path that is subject to very little electromagnetic noise, hence the marginal fluctuation.
