Thanks jeff  added the 2 new servers to the ISP DNS list and also Be information pages.

Not added to O2 yet as atm whilst its still in trial it only seems to be applicable to Be...  but I should imagine it will be coming soon :)

I wonder why people put up with ISP's DNS facilities when OpenDNS is so good.  It's very secure, very quick (especially for UK resolvers) and very reliable.

It has excellent features which include selective blocking of categories of web sites including phishing and pornography, RFC1918 address blocking, malware/botnet protection and OpenDNS's slick SmartCache feature.

OpenDNS's passion for DNS is infectious and they do it better than anyone else.

Silly question, but can I just type in their DNS Servers (ie 208.67.220.220; 208.67.222.222) directly into my router or do I firstly have to register for a free account before being able to use them.

Cheers

Hi

For all you DNS hunters this link    might be useful.

I found that my ISP DNS servers were as good as as any. The other point worth mentioning is that "OPENDNS"  returns to advertising pagesif it fails to find a valid address.
