One of the other problems that can prevent some sets from working after analogue switch off is the change to 8K modulation. There are some sets that cannot manage the change and I believe it is a hardware not a software function and so not amenable to an update. I'm not sure if Kitz's problems with her Hyundai were due to this but the agents telling her it wasn't mendable would suggest so. It would be surprising in such a modern TV though and perhaps you've got it working, Kitz.
I'm sure that HD uses 8K but most digital TVs can decode ordinary (ie not high definition) 8K as well as the older 2K. HD is another matter.

Nope it will do 8K. From what I recall now when speaking to the guy at Repairtech who do the UK support for Hyundai its something to do with UK v Foreign Freeview
