Fast sync, slow throughput

Hi,

I am with Talktalk (FMPF), i have a fairly short line so i opted for the speedboost which took the sync speed up to around 17Mb. My throughput has stayed pretty much the same as it was when i was in sync at 8Mb, usually around 4Mb maximum. This is obviously very slow compared with tyhe sync speed. Tried 2 ADSL2+ routers at NTE5 test.

Any ideas or anyone else facing the same problem????

It'd be a good idea to post up your line stats, if not sure how, look for the guide on the main part of the site :)

Hi, jonah82...........you will find the guidance for testing/reporting your line stats. at http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/frogstats.php.

Just select your modem/router type from the drop down menu and then follow your nose.  :)
