Lloyds Bank Phishing E-mail
« on: June 22, 2006, 02:46:16 AM »

This e-mail is now doing the rounds (along with many others) supposedly from Lloyds TSB Bank.

This is NOT from Lloyds bank and under no circumstances should anyone reply to it, unless you want your bank account depleted.

It has come to our attention that your Lloyds TSB account information needs to be updated as part of our continuing commitment to protect your account and to reduce the instance of fraud on our website. If you could please take 5-10 minutes out of your online experience and update your personal records you will not run into any future problems with the online service.

However, failure to update your records will result in account suspension.

There was more than this, but this is the main part of the e-mail concerned.
If you also check the spelling of Lloyds, in the original there are places where it is even spelt incorrectly.

You have been Warned/Informed.
