Firefox Bookmaks
« on: July 19, 2009, 03:08:20 PM »

Hi,
Just returned to the computer after a weekly McAfee scan and found instead of Firefox I have  IE8 loaded. When I logged back on to Firefox I have found my bookmaks missing (those on the left side of the screen(its just a blank space with no book marks). When I open the bookmarks link at the top of the screen I see my bookmarks are there but not onthe leftside of the screen

How do I get my bookmarks sidebar back with all my bookmarks.

I have just found out Sue has been on the computer clicking away and she doesn't know whats happened..................

Edit.....when I load FF and my home page www.bbc.co.uk ,The homepage loads ok but there is just a blank space where my bookmarks should be.I just don't know how to get the bookmarks into the blank space.
There is no blank space when I visit this site, the site displays right to the edge, where as before The site displayed up to where my bookmarks sidebar was.

After intense interrogation  >:D

It turns out Sue had been trying to view some camping sites and somehow clicked a few wrong buttons, ended up onto the desktop and then logged back on via internet explorer instead of firefox.

I have waived punishment on this instance, but it has gone on record............. >:D
