Good grief!

I just tried to log in to the Be Forums and got a shock:
1. It's broken (hopefully not for long)
2. The new "branding" has landed, since earlier this morning.

It's TRULY DREADFUL.  >:D >:D >:D

The BE Box is a wireless and Ethernet broadband modem that delivers ADSL connectivity to multiple users. It's a good solid piece of kit, and yours to do what you want with.

Absolutely awful.

In some ways it reminds me of high contrast schemes you can get for forums and web pages which are included for the use of partially sited.

The mix of different font types on the main page is crazy and the new cyan and black logo is terrible.  I'm almost feeling sick looking at the page

They've even given an option to change the background

The bebox  I pity anyone having that thing sitting beside their computer!

Are the forums changing too?  I've just logged in and they are still the same for me.

I'd be surprised if they don't rebrand again quite quickly to get rid of this mess....

I had a look at the Bethere site out of curiosity earlier this afternoon, having read all the above comments.

Ever since then whatever and whichever site I visit, and which ever posts I try to read on this and all other forums I get this popping up.

It appeares to carry the Bethere web address.

I did a search on my PC, found some Bethere cookies and deleted them, but this still appears.

Can some kind soul advise me on how to get rid of this......or is my machine now infected in some way.

Thank you.

Sorry, should say this is in Opera browser, have not tried in other browsers.

I opened the "security" tab on the pop-up , approved the certificate and told the thing to remember that setting.......and the pop-ups no longer appear.  ???

It does appear to be a valid certificate...surely bethere would not inflict malware of any sort... so I accepted it, but I am still worried that I saw this on all sites except Bethere......will trundle off and run hours and hours of anti nasty scans.
 :fingers:

Thank you all for your responses and comments.

I think they will give it a couple of weeks. They will be hoping that it's only a select few of the more vocal users that are voicing negative opinions, and the reaction was to be expected because it's a 'progressive/unique/striking/provocative' design.

I'd imagine a poll will be started on the Be forum at some point.
