heres an interesting possible coincidence.

2007 was the chinese year of the chicken. the news was occupied by Bird flu pandemic that originated from the far east.

2008 was the year of the horse. the news then was occupied by equin einfluenza dcimating australian hourse racing.

2009 the year of the pig. Now we hear reports of swine flu covering the globe.

Interesting, the only thing that concerns me about this is next year

2010 the chinese year of the Cock !

Because on my version all of those date are all of of sync.

2007 = Year of the Pig
2008 = Year of the Rat
2009 = Year of the OX

Last month they had a joke with the last line missing and confused everyone, a few months before the wrong crossword for the clues.
