Well so far my Sky MAX seems to be going down over the last three months. It has dropped (despite all efforts to avoid it ) from 12000 to 2300 this evening.....
Managed to get it back up to 6000-6300 just now but am not very happy about problem...

Morning Bavon,

Best advise I can give is start with the standard Diags:

1) Test Socket
2) Filters/Faceplate
3) Modem
4) Possible Inteference

1 is self explanatory, 2 change the filters or buy an SSFP from ADSL Nation. 3 make sure the modem is ok or at least borrow one to see if you get a different sync speed. You can also try a factory reset on it. 4 check for interference, such as radiators, street lights and so forth.

If you try this and it doesnt help, ask your ISP to check the line and if needed report a fault to Openreach.

Hi and welcome to the Forum Bavon  :)

As well as trying those things that Leo has suggested, could post up your line stats.

If you don't know how to get them, take a look here

Hi Bavon and welcome.

The others have already so far given the correct info....

Im splitting this off from the other topic so you can have your own thread so we can look at your line in more detail with out any distraction from the previous posts.
If you would post your linestats then we will be happy to look at them for you.
