I see from this article here http://www.kitz.co.uk/routers/skyDG934.htm that the Netgear DG934G can be flashed with the DG834 v3 firmware.

But the DG834 v3 can also be flashed with the DGTeam firmware.

Does that mean that the DG934G can also run the DGTeam firmware? Has anyone tried this? Was it successful?

Yep, select the DGTeam firmware that's compatible with the DG834Gv3

Edit: It might be safer to flash from Sky firmware ---> Netgear firmware ---> DGTeam firmware rather than Sky ---> DGTeam
