I guess that's an easy mistake to make if you're terminally stupid. >:(

The election of MEP's is coming up shortly...........

So lets show them how we feel via the ballot box

They are all under the impression that saying sorry and paying some back will make everything sweet again.............WRONG !!!!

I think a lot of voters will vote for any party other than the main three,if this upsets the applecart, then so be it.ENOUGH is ENOUGH !!!!

Hi
When the government tries to push ID cards (for security reasons etc ) they have said that anyone with nothing to hide ,have nothing to worry about the information on these cards . NOW I understand why the MPs are so much against revealing their expenses  !. >:(

This is quite appropriate isn't it  !!!

It is high time for me to put an end to your sitting in this place, which you have dishonoured by your contempt of all virtue, and defiled by your practice of every vice; ye are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government; ye are a pack of mercenary wretches, and would like Esau sell your country for a mess of pottage, and like Judas betray your God for a few pieces of money.

Is there a single virtue now remaining amongst you? Is there one vice you do not possess? Ye have no more religion than my horse; gold is your God; which of you have not barter'd your conscience for bribes? Is there a man amongst you that has the least care for the good of the Commonwealth?

Ye sordid prostitutes have you not defil'd this sacred place, and turn'd the Lord's temple into a den of thieves, by your immoral principles and wicked practices? Ye are grown intolerably odious to the whole nation; you were deputed here by the people to get grievances redress'd, are yourselves gone! So! Take away that shining bauble there, and lock up the doors.

In the name of God, go!

Oliver Cromwell to the House of Commons, 20 April 1653.............

Sadly,oh so true,

The only thing that changed is the date...............

If I hear error of judgement mentioned one more time.....................

Do these morons think we are all idiots,

@Margaret Beckett, she has no remorse what so ever and thinks everything she has claimed for is fine.

[I have claimed for food because when you are working in London and can't go home every night you have to eat in restaurants]

Whats wrong with cooking in their so called London second homes/apartments ?,or eating in the plush commons restaurant.

I worked in London for 2 years and I couldn't afford  to eat in restaurants, and I certainly didn't get a food allowance.

Hazel Blears is one of the worse offenders.

Quote
Mr Brown has said Ms Blears was guilty of "totally unacceptable behaviour" over her expenses claims.

Yet.........

Quote
But the prime minister's official spokesman moved to dampen speculation she was about to be sacked, saying: "She's doing a good job".

A good job doing what !!!!!!!

The atmosphere at Westminster has become so "unbearable" due to expenses revelations that a suicide is feared, one MP named in the row has warned

If its that "unbearable" why don't they all quit.

Hi
quote  A Tory whip has admitted claiming mortgage interest on his constituency home - which has never had a mortgage on it - but says it was a mistake.

what he meant was  "It was a mistake getting caught "
