Hello All.
I've got a machine with a mobo that's failing, it uses a socket, 'A' Duron cpu,
I have a spare mobo which is also socket 'A' and it says use a Athlon XP or Duron cpu.
So could I just use the old cpu out of the old mobo in the new mobo ?.
Michael.

Make sure bus speed is correct, if the motherboard isn't one that auto-detects. If in doubt, set it to 100Mhz and go upwards from there if the CPU isn't detected as fast enough.
