I would just like to update everyone from when I last posted on which ISP to choose back last September 08.  I have been with UKonline since October 08 and to date they are the best ISP I have been with.  I get the best speed my crappy line can sustain and rarely have any trouble.  They also have the best tech help and customer service I've encountered yet, and a big plus is that they are UK based( If NI counts as UK).

I have been with Onetel, Pipex. BT Broadband ,TalkTalk(Briefly) and UkOnline. The worst two were BT and TalkTalk but BT edged it because to rub salt into the lousy service wound, they are the most expensive.

So, If your looking for an ISP and UkOnline is a LLU in your exchange, I would recommend them based on the last 5 months
