Billing

(1/1)

tweedledee:
I joined Post Office in Feb 08, oh what a silly boy!  For 12 months now I have been billed for someone elses number, I have been billed for repairs to someone elses number (£140 plus vat) . It took 4 months to get that refunded.  I have phoned them 7 times, written twice, and written to OFCOM who e mailed them and still they can't get it right.   So far they got my name wrong, only half my adress, and of course the wrong phone nunber, but surprise surprise they got my bank details right and boy have they made a meal of that one!   Time I think to make a load of international calls, as some poor soul is obviosly getting MY bill, and depart rapidly.
The Post Office experiance has done nothing for my blood pressure, just can't wait to dump them!  Any suggestions of a RELIABLE provider?

UncleUB:
Hi Tweedledee, sorry about your demise with the Post Office.Obviously who you go with depends on quite a few factors, price, usage, and support to name a few.
Start by having a look here.

As well as following UB's suggestion - it may be an idea to run your phone no through the adsl checker to see which LLU providers are available at your exchange.

Ezzer:
Sounds like someones typed your bank details on someone elses phone account. I presume this is via direct debit. the reference number typicaly is the phone account number.

This then begs the question who's account details are paying for your account
