I checked at around 1500 hours this afternoon and Mrs Falcon just seemed to be a bit fidgety on the eggs. That explains things. She could either hear or feel movement "from within".

The sad news that the bad weather has taken two of the chicks over the week end.

Oh . . .   :'(

Whenever I checked, at the weekend, Mrs Falcon had her back to the weather and the chicks under her "wing-tent" and breast.

We had very heavy rain all Sunday, I looked at the web cams about three times during the day and in the evening I noted both Derby and Nottingham birds looking like this   http://ntufalcons.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/wetmommafalcon.jpg

What a shame.  :(

But that is normal "out in the wild". The only difference here is that we are able to watch . . .
