I must be having a bad brain day. (some would say decade)

Can anyone point out how to hide my e-mail being visible to forum members via the letter icon on my posts.

I am happy for site announcements (and moderators disciplines )to get to me.

I have just looked at your profile, and your email address is hidden.

Only you can see it, and the admin and moderators under some circumstances.

For peace of mind, go to your profile tab ( beside the search, my messages etc tabs) then go account related settings and ensure there is a check in the box " hide email address from public"

Yes, your email address is shown as "Hidden" in your profile.

Thanks for the feedback.

It must be a forum characteristic that I and only I can see the letter icon on my posts. If I click on it, it attempts to open Outlook with the to: field populated with my e-mail address.

Just as a matter of interest whilst on the subject of what can be seen and what can't.

If you look at the bottom right-hand corner of any post's that you have created, you will be able to see your current IP address.
Again, that is also hidden from general view and only you can see that.

Yes I see my IP address, other peoples posts just show 'IP logged'.
