Jeff

Lost me with that Jeff?

I think most on here know who are the worse, a capital T springs to mind, a Capital A, a capital O & a capital B.

Can`t think of why they come to the forefront though... ::)

Sheesh - 6 months later and still no nearer to a resolution.

Who ever that is must have the patience of a saint.

Would be interesting to see their linestats - just to see what sort of speeds they should be getting.

What i found amusing was that the upstream dies to a ower point than the downstream. I personally dont see it as being congestion.

If you look on their forums theres quite a few cases where peak time speeds due to congestion are really low.  300-400 kbps is common.
iirc that may have been one of the threads I wrote a reply to.  I didnt point any fingers and I was very polite, but I gave a run down list of things to check.
Tiscali deleted my post. :-X

If you could find my posts from late 2007 (probably also deleted by now) you'd see I was getting sub-ISDN speeds every evening and my email server access was just timing out. 300kbps would have been wonderful! >:(

Hi

Guess who had his post deleted in the tiscali forum . Not once but twice

Just for a laugh (weird sense of humour !) I have a look at Tiscali Forums . I thought I would try to help a guy who was been given the usual run around . He had a 40db attenuation on*max but was told his line would only support <2Mbps  (sounds familiar ).
So I gave him the link to see what he could expect with 40db attenuation. That's gone
So I asked where my last post was .Guess what that's gone. So it looks as if the only HELP ?? that Tiscali forum users are allowed to see is what  the Tiscali  moderators dish out . :(

this makes interesting reading  http://www.tiscali.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=162499

Regards Jeff

Somehow it seems that Tiscali couldn't organise a bun fight in a bakery (and that's the politest way of putting it).

I think its down right disgraceful the way they are removing valid posts.

I still maintain that I did not breach any of their rules when they deleted all my posts,  at least I wasn't giving out false information - unlike their reps.
