Make sure you use some decent thermal compound to bond the heatsink and chip.

About that I went into PC World for that I couldn't find any that weren't damaged  :( so I asked the "Techguys" if they had any and if I remember clearly his response was and I quote "What on earth is thermal compound"  :lol:

Ah yes, those highly trained Tech Guys... Some poor devils rely on them to fix their computer problems.

Don't forget though, there is Thermal compound and there is Thermal compound!

Although probably most of us just use either what we have lying around or just what is on the shelf at the time, but there is actually various viscosities available depending on the specific application.

Even CPU's have recommended types of compound.

Finally recieved a Cooler ordered from ebay  :D works perfectly, my 7300GS now clocks in at 650mhz GPU clock and 1400mhz memory clock, outperforms the 8600GT I've had but never bothered to use  ;D

Before I help thanks for the help guys and kitz for the visual demo of the her old card  :thumbs: Atlast I can uncompress textures in all games  ;D
