Morning everyone,

Cold 'ere...brr... but not sure what the weather is doing as I haven't lifted the blinds yet lol.

Hope you all have a good day today and are keeping warm (and dry).  After a sunny and bright start yesterday morning we had even more rain later in the day.  I expect the poor people in Oz with those horrendous fires would more than welcome our rain, I can't imagine what they must be going through, losing their loved ones and their homes and possessions, poor souls...horrendous isn't it?

Grey and mildish here, no frost and it's dry so not too bad.

TD has an important decision to make today.............does he stay snug by the fire and spend time posting rubbish on here, or does he take the bull by the horns and go out to wash and polish his horseless carriage.

Morning all.

It's my humble opinion, TD, that washing the horseless carriage in winter is a bit of a thankless task. You get cold and wet, and the next time you use the car it gets filthy again. I prefer to use the excuse a friend always offered, that the dirt helps to protect the paintwork.

Roseway, your lucid and cogent arguement has persuaded me that the HC can wait, your well considered theory being reinforced by my poking nose out of house.....it is not as mild as I thought.  In fact it is cold..cold.

Snow nearly gone,very cold,bin emptied.

  brightly now  ... cleared up on the terrace, washed it down,  collected tons of leaves  (well a few binfuls )   looking much better now, birds singing,  washing drying, and a visit to the dechetterie (tip)  this afternoon is planned  ....  all exciting stuff

I know you need to this, its still snowing. Fortunately its quite fine, and there's only about half an inch, but it looks as if it could be set in for the night. I wonder where my wellies are.
