dg834v4 questions

Hi

When you use the "disconnect" option from the" Connection status " window on the dg834v4 router does it just disconnect the connection to the ISP ?. I have used it a couple of times and observed that the DSL light stays on green . When I reconnect it is still connected at exactly the same speed and with the exactly same SNR margin .

G'Day jeff,

It disconnects the Auth'd session and not the sync session.

Hi Leo

Thanks for the quick reply . So it performs in a similar way to the st330 modem. on that I used to hunt for good Pipes by disconnecting my PPP session without upsetting my snr target. My Snr target is 15 now anyway , caused by some problems about 2 months back .
