Dumb question about filters
«

This is probably a yes/no type answer, however I couldn't find a clear answer anywhere..
I have a master socket, no extensions.
The ADSL router plugs, via a filter, into this socket
I don't use voice, at all.
Do I therefore really need a filter? Can I get run the adsl direct from the test socket or master without a filter? Will it have any impact on the speed of the line?
Thanks!
Dave

You don't need the filter, but using one shouldn't affect the ADSL performance unless it's a very poor quality one.
