DMT / netgear problem
« on: January 12, 2009, 04:58:57 PM »

I have a Netgear DG834 v4 wired router. I used to have a Voyager 210which died a few weeks ago. With the Voyager I could connect the DMT tool by just entering my Login and Password and connect, using the Netgear I enter the correct 192.168.0.1 along with my Login and Password but the port box which is 23 keeps flashing red, with the voyager I connected on port 23 no problem.
Before I start changing any settings etc and mess things up any advice on why the port number keeps flashing and I cannot connect.

The netgears usually have to be put into debug mode first
Try this link in your browser to enable debug mode.

You may also find that you have to tick the "Special" log on box.
