The .deb version installed on my Debian system with no dependency issues. It has very few listed dependencies:

perl
libwww-perl
id3v2 (provided by libtag1 on Debian)

Thought i'd post this here....

ITV Player now uses Adobe Flash to deliver content (and it actually works)  ;)

Unfortunately ITV's change to using Flash seems to have broken my favourite get_iplayer.
I can't download ITV programmes any more.
get_iplayer website still lists ITV as supported, but some comments in their forum Sept 14/15/16 indicate it's not.
(Naturally BBC still works fine).
