How to use routerstats with dsl-2740b
« on: January 11, 2009, 06:31:35 PM »

Hey, as you may know i recently bought the dsl-2740b and im very impressed with it. Im having one small problem though with routerstats. I have managed to configure it to work with the router and it plots downstream snr and sync speed perfectly, however, i just can figure out how to get it to also plot the upstream snr and downstream. I have tried highlighting the value and pressing tx noise and tx sync but whenever i Test the value becomes the same as my down snr and sync speed. Can anyone shed some light please.

In my posting on the Routerstats forum, paste the section between the dashes into Notepad or something similar and save it as RouterStats.ini then copy this file to the same directory as RouterStats.exe. There will already be a file of that name and you can overwrite it, or maybe save it somewhere else first. When you run Routerstats you will still have to enter your own login details of course.
