@ kate - yes the ferry still runs but only in the summer... and youre quite right theres nothing much there

BTW you may joke about row-boats... but these are the size of the ships that come in up the estuary, despite it being so narrow.

It always amazes me how they manage to turn around to port when the channel is only about as wide as the boat is long.
