Well,   Birds Nest soup is strange (if it is the soup that's strange)    so I'll have a quick guess at Neston, Wirral.        ................    if it's the preparation that's strange  -that's another matter  :'(

Well,    cold soup is a bit of a strange preparation   - except Vichyssoise  !  there's a place called Coldham in Staffs   ... and I suppose a cold ham soup would be a strange preparation   ......  :-\    I'm clutching at straws here     :lol:
