I've gone back to your Scottish roots TD  ......  and found a Coillore on Skye   .....     coil as in wire, bobbin etc ....     ore  as in iron ore  -  heavy   ...   am I warm ? ;D :-\

So, sounds like a heavy coil.........nearly there, an alternative spelling for coil and we are home and dry.  :)

Just to simplify the whole thing, go back to 1038 and study the activities of  the "Order of Paragons" and indentify the first king of Hurvia.......whose name, by the way, is also an Old Scots word for a coalmine.

There, that clears it up... ;D
